The apparent reversal by the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill to instate “1619 Project” creator Nikole Hannah-Jones as a tenured faculty is problematic in itself but more importantly a sign of a larger problem in taxpayer-funded academia, Manhattan Institute scholar Chris Rufo said Thursday.
