Los Angeles man pleads guilty to murdering sheriff’s deputy in 2016

A California man pleaded guilty Thursday to first-degree murder in the fatal shooting of a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department sergeant in 2016 in what Sheriff Alex Villanueva called an execution-style killing.
