Senate Republicans plan to ask President Biden’s pick for attorney general, Judge Merrick Garland, at his confirmation hearing about whether he’ll investigate the alleged cover-up of nursing home coronavirus deaths by New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo. The hearing is scheduled to begin Monday and run into Tuesday.
