Ex-NYPD officer blasts ‘despicable’ move to put convicted cop killer on NY police reform panel

Nassau County Police Benevolent Association (PBA) President James McDermott said Richard Rivera, who reportedly murdered off-duty officer and dad-of-four Robert Walsh in 1981, should step down from the police reform panel.
