HH Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed Al Maktoum is the son of the Dubai ruler HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Premier of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, issued Decree No. (5) of 2020 denoting Sheikh Mansour Bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum as President of the Dubai Sports Council.
The Decree shall take effect from issue, and they also will publish it in the Official Gazette.
Mansoor is to succeed Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai’s Crown Prince, under whom the Council has grown in prominence since they established it in 2005. As the regulatory body for all sporting activities in Dubai, DSC has also played a key role in successfully organizing major sporting events, conferences and developing a robust sporting ecosystem that meets the company’s requirements.
