An adorable African grey parrot named Rocco was kicked out of an animal sanctuary for swearing too much. Wischnewski, of the National Animal Welfare Trust in Berkshire, took Rocco home to live with her because they did not want his swearing to be seen on public display. Rocco’s previous owner taught him various swear words.
He now has a new hobby that is chatting with Alexa on his owner’s Amazon Echo so much so that he keeps using it to order things.
According to the Sun, Rocco has ordered strawberries, watermelon, raisins, broccoli and ice cream, as well as a kite, kettle and light bulbs.
“Rocco and Alexa chat away to each other all day,” said his owner, Marion Wischnewski. “Then I have to check the shopping list and cancel all the items he’s ordered.”
Wischnewski said Rocco also uses Alexa to play music, with rock his preferred genre.
“And he loves a boogie with Alexa. But it has to be something fast, like his favorite Kings of Leon,” she said.
