Hurricane Florence has garnered a lot of attention ever since it has been categorised as 4 on the scale, causing mass evacuation and threats to property.
Apart from Hurricane Florence there are many weather disturbances that are going to occur nearby, such as the Tropical Storm Helene and Isaac that’s spinning over the Atlantic. Helene is forecasted to occur the near the Azores (the island region of Portugal) on Saturday and Sunday at speeds of 70- mph. Isaac has passed between the islands of Dominica and Martinique last Wednesday is making its way to the west of the eastern Caribbean Sea. Isaac not be too dangerous but it’s strength will cause tropical storm over the next few days and dissipate by early next week.
The Pacific will be making waves due to Tropical Depression Olivia and Super Typhoon Mangkhut, while the western part of Gulf of Mexico has a Tropical disturbance that will turn into a tropical depression or a Tropical Storm over the coming week.
Tropical Depression Olivia brought heavy rains, strong winds that knocked out trees and the power prompting evacuations from several homes in Hawaii’s Maui island but did not cause too much damage to the state
Maui Mayor Alan Arakawa said he hoped the effects of the storm would be limited. “It’s been an ordeal but we’re coming through this fairly well,” Arakawa said at a news conference.
The world’s most dangerous storm is the one that is aiming at Philippine’s that will garner a wind speed of 165 mph, named as Super Typhoon Mangkhut . The Typhoon’s trajected to hit the northeastern Cagayan province on Saturday. Thousands of people have begun evacuating from the path of the typhoon. The government has already shut down schools, placing rescuers and troops at ready and even readying bulldozers for landslides in the country’s North.
