Two shootings in the United States in less than 24 hours killed 29 people. Twenty people killed Saturday morning in El Paso, Texas.
Nine others killed at dawn Sunday in a shootout in Dayton, Ohio, in the US northwest.
On Saturday morning:
One person opened fire at a shopping mall in El Paso, killing 20 people, including three Mexicans, who were shopping.
Before the police stopped the suspect and placed him in remand.
Police treat the shooting as a racist crime.
Less than 13 hours later, police in Dayton announced on Twitter: “The shooter killed.”
