Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif renewed condemnation of the new US sanctions against Iran. Iran’s Revolutionary Guards commander Hossein Salami vowed that any country attacking his country would become a battlefield. Rahim Safavi, an advisor to the Iranian leader, threatened a regional response to any of US attack.

Washington imposes sanctions on Iran:
Zarif said after arriving in New York to participate in the work of the United Nations General Assembly that:
when Washington repeatedly imposes sanctions on the institutions already punished in order to kneel Iran. This is a sign of failure and despair, considering it an attempt to prevent the Iranians from access to food and medicine.
New sanctions against Iran
US President Donald Trump announced yesterday that his country has imposed new sanctions against Iran. Which includes its central bank, and “the most severe ever against a country.” This sanctions imposed in response to the attack of the two oil facilities belonging to Saudi Aramco in the Kingdom’s east.
US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said during a visit to Abu Dhabi
“While Iran’s foreign minister threatens an all-out war, we are here to build an alliance aimed at achieving peace.”
Zarif responded on Twitter by saying that:
“Pompeo seems to have understood the wrong thing. It is not Iran that wants to fight, but his hosts from Team B who seem to want.” “In fighting Iran to the last American.”
He means by the Team B
