An 18-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder has been released by the police after a teenager was stabbed near a retail park.
Ezekiel Clarke was attacked Wednesday shortly after 19:00 GMT on Churchfield Lane near Castle Retail Park in Radford, Nottingham.
Nottinghamshire Police said at the scene the 17-year-old died shortly after trying to treat him.
A 19-year-old man arrested on the same charge will remain in police custody.
Formal recognition still has not occurred.
Det Insp Rich Monk said he’d been “always willing” to contact the police for anyone with details or dashcam video.
Detectives released an 18-year-old man from custody in connection with a murder investigation.
17-year-old Ezekiel Clarke died after officers responded to a report a boy had sustained stab wounds.
Officers and ambulance crews came to Churchfield Road, near Castle Retail Park, in Radford on February 19 at around 7:10pm, where Mr Clarke died on the scene.
During the early hours of Friday 20 February, the police arrested a 19-year-old man. He is still in custody.
Detective Inspector Rich Monk said: “We’re still working hard to fully understand the circumstances of that evening. I’m still eager for anyone to come forward with any information that might help our inquiries.”
We’d like to hear from anyone who may have been driving in the area around the time of the incident and who might have captured the dashcam footage.
