Starbucks has had its presence in more than 40 countries. But recently Starbucks has opened its first ever Italy store and its absolutely stunning.
Inside the Former post office in Milan’s Palazzo delle Poste lies Starbucks magnificent Reserve Roastery. It is the third reserve location, following the original in Seattle and the second in Shanghai. It spans over 25,000 square feet.
To match the rich culture of Milan, this Starbucks store has a touch more than the ordinary. Not only you can order coffee but can also eat the Princi Bakery, relish watching the roasting process of coffee beans. And of course there is plenty of place to feel the magical “Italian” touch, like jewel-toned marble, and a mosaic-ed floor. Outside, there is a terrace with plenty of seating for guests.
Howard, now the Chairman Emeritus of Starbucks, called the store opening a full circle moment: “Everything we have experienced, since that first moment of inspiration 35 years ago to now being a daily part of millions of people’s lives around the world, we bring with great respect to Italy,” he said. “I am so proud and humbled to bring our Italian customers an experience that is the very best of Starbucks.”
