After the 54-year-old man tested positive for coronavirus on Sunday, a husband and wife went into the hospital, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 57 in Hong Kong.

At Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital, in Chai Wan, the pair who live in Ming Kung Mansion in Quarry Bay’s Taiko Shing residential complex is being treated.
Dr. Chuang Shuk-kwan of the Health Protection Center said that the man visited the hospital for the first time on February 10 after experiencing a fever and cough. Lung scans had shown no abnormality, she said.
Meanwhile, The man returned to hospital on Saturday after the symptoms persisted. On Sunday, after she developed a runny nose and a cough, they admitted his wife.
Hong kong is ready
Though the man stopped working on February 7, Chuang said he went to a small church in Quarry Bay.
“We’ll also track their close contacts and see how many people it takes to quarantine,” Chuang said.
So The patient had not traveled outside the town recently.
Furthermore, Taiko Shing Management Limited said that a resident of Ming Kung Mansion–one of the 61 towers in the complex– caught the virus.
The complex probably boasts over 12,000 flats.
“We quarantined residents for treatment in hospital,” it said. “We do not know the specific floor the resident lives on, only that it is in the building’s high zone.”
Management aslo said “intensive cleaning and thorough coronavirus,” would take place in Ming Kung Mansion’s communal areas.
Meanwhile, a 24-year-old man went out on Sunday after he tested negative for the virus twice in 24 hours, the Hospital said.
