After five states have cast their votes, Datuk Seri Azmin Ali and Rafizi Ramli are neck and neck in their race to become the PKR deputy president.
Azmin has currently garnered 16,318 votes against Rafizi’s 16,226 in the fight to be the No.2 to Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, the president-elect. Azmin is leading in terms of number of votes.
Azmin won the first and second rounds in Penang and Johor last weekend against his opponent.
The Federal Territories must cast their vote too. Melaka, Negri Sembilan, Perlis, Kedah, Perak and Selangor will e-vote this month. Sabah and Sarawak will vote in November.
A total of 76 posts are currently being contested at the central level and a total of 10,212 positions are contested at all levels throughout the country.
