Bussa Krishna worship Trump after painting his image in a hate crime in US after the death of Srinivas Kuchibotla.
US President Donald Trump is a God for Bussa Krishna who lives in the remote Konne village in district of Jangaon in Telangana.
The 31-year-old farmer worships the photograph of Trump he has installed in his puja room along with other Hindu gods.
Bussa offers flowers, vermillion & turmeric at the end of his prayer besides doing “aarti” to the photograph.
The incident of killing the software engineer by a US navy veteran who is called Srinivas Kuchibhotla inspired Krishna to the idea of worshiping Trump.
“I was very much pained at the incident. I thought the only way the US president and his people could understand the greatness of Indians is to display our love and affection towards them. That is why I started worshiping Trump with a hope that the prayers would reach him one day. I believe Indians can win over anyone with their spiritual powers. When you cannot take on a mighty person directly, you can win over him with love and worship and that is what I am doing”
Worshiping politicians is common in India as followers have given divine status to political leaders across the country as well as movie stars by building temples to them.
AIADMK leader J Jayalalithaa was called Amma & worshipped as a goddess.
Narendra Mod, Prime Minister removed a temple dedicated to him in a city his home state of Gujarat called Rajkot saying he got appalled.
“I only know that he is the most strong and invincible leader in the world. What I liked about him was his bold attitude. Since he took part in World Wrestling Federation (WWF) competitions, he must be very powerful. Nobody took me seriously and some people even called me a mad fellow, wondering how prayers in a remote village would reach Trump. But I have a strong faith in what I am doing”
US President Donald Trump is being worshipped with the status of a deity for Bussa Krishna, 31-year old resident of Konne Village in the Janagaon district of India’s Telangana state, who demonstrated his Trump-worshipping ‘puja’ rituals dedicated to the US leader on Monday.
