Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum is Dubai’s Deputy President, and the Dubai Media Appointed Chairman. In February 2008, when his older brother Hamdan was made crown prince, he was elected deputy ruler of Dubai.

Early life of Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid

Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid was born in Dubai on 24 November 1983. He is the third son of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, ruler of Dubai. Also he is the son of Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum. He finished his high school at Rashid Private School, Dubai, and in 2005 graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from American University in Dubai. As well as Harvard University, he completed several preparation courses at the Dubai School of Business.

Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid heads the Dubai Media Incorporated board of directors and works as president of the Dubai Technology and Communications Free Zone Authority (TECOM Investments). Sheikh Maktoum has accompanied Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates, to various events, summits and official meetings. He has also accompanied Sheikh Mohammed to numerous political and economic events in the UAE, the Arab and foreign.

He married Maryam Bint Butti Al Maktoum in a royal wedding at the World Trade Center in Dubai on 6 June 2019.

A remarkable achievement

Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid played a major role in a great record. Dubai set a world record as First 3D printed commercial building thanks to him and other leaders.

On 20 February 2020, the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) used a 20-foot-high. And 120 feet long and 40 feet wide 3D-printer to print a commercial building. According to the WORLD RECORD ACADEMY. The entire structure, impressively measuring 20 feet high. 40 feet wide and 120 feet tall, is setting the current world record for becoming the World’s First 3D-printed commercial building.

The office room occupies up to 250 square feet, while the architectural architecture represents future workplace’s most creative forms.
