Bill Cosby has been arrested and has begun his three-to-10 year sentence for drugging and molesting a woman in 2004.
The jury had concluded the decision and he will now serve his sentence at SCI Phoenix, in a cell near the infirmary and will be known as Inmate No. NN7687.
Under the policy of the prison he is allowed to make phone calls, allowed visits and will get to exercise. He will also be meeting prison medical staff, psychologists and other staff members to assess his needs.
Officials said he will be placed in the general population and that “They were taking all of the necessary precautions to ensure Mr. Cosby’s safety and general welfare in our institution,” said Corrections Secretary John Wetzel.
Along with his prison sentence Bill Cosby will also have to pay a fine of $25,000 and since the judge declared him as “sexually violent predator” he is subject to monthly counselling for the rest of his life.
Reporters obtained a daily schedule that includes classes, treatment programmes, meal times, work time, pray time, access to a barber, gym and yard time.
